What string guage is recommended for a Mexican Fender Stratocaster?

Just wondering what I'd need to put on there to get it where Fender says it should be. I've messed around with so many brands of strings and guages of strings that I have no idea anymore where I started.

Also, I believe that the politically correct term would be MIM or "Made in Mexico" not "Mexican" lol but I get ya bro :P

Like practically every Strat (and Fender for that matter) ever made, .009-.042 should be what you're looking for to get it back to factory. It's also IMHO the best gauge for a Strat or Telecaster as well.
